    The fan is connected to a wall switch. The neutral is not connected to the wall switch. It is connected with a red line. When I connect the neutral line that is coming out of the box to the fan, the fan works but the switch doesn’t cut the power to the fan. When I connect the red line to the neutral. The fan doesn’t work at all. What am I missing or doing wrong. I have no reference to go to since fan came without installing instructions
