    The lid lock light will not come on & lid won't lock

    i OPENED DOOR TO PUT ANOTHER garment in and the washer started making a growling sound after a few minutes. The start button doesn't work and when you close the lid it starts making the growling/humming sound and won't go off unless I unplug it.
