    Why does softener/ detergent drawer get blocked and fill up?.
    And bottom overflow need emptying?
    How do I do this without a hose at ground level?

    My softener drawer kept getting blocked too; take it out, turn it upside down (after removing the blue 'MAX' tab in the drawer), and you'll see a small circular hole. Mine was completely blocked - used a wooden skewer to unblock it, flushed it with hot water and it's worked fine since.
