The air fry mode is set to a constant 400° F. The temperature on the air fry mode cannot be changed.

Yes. When this oven is in the air fry mode, it is preset to cook at 400° F and it cannot be changed.

The crumb tray will go below the lower heating elements. To insert the crumb tray, you will want to close the oven's door. Under the door is a slot that the crumb tray will slide into so it goes underneath the elements.
How do you start it to broil
Hi,you insert drip tray in opening under the glass door. If you look in very bottom you will see two tracks.One on each side that you will slide drip tray in. The "handle" of tray faces down. Great unit BTW. Hope this helps.
Ok to cover bottom of basket with parchment paper when using marinade that may drip
B & D suggest not using any foil or other when air frying. You didn't specify what mode you will use. The drip tray should catch any droppings. Great unit BTW. Hope this helps.
