    We bought a 2612 via Amazon. I could not assemble it so that the base carpet cleaner would operate. The problem was where the vacuum tube attaches to the tube base. It didn't fit. It fit loosely over the tube base, and slipped off whenever we tried to use it in upright mode. Could we possibly have been shipped the wrong vacuum tube?
