KEY INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
Hire a professional to install this dryer properly. If a service call has to be made as a result of poor setup,
adjustment, or connection, it is considered the responsibility of the installer. If you install the dryer, you are
responsible.
Make sure you have everything necessary for proper installation:
• A GROUNDED ELECTRICAL OUTLET. See Electrical Requirements. See page 15.
• A POWER CORD for electric dryers (except Canada). See page 16.
• GAS LINES (if you are installing a gas dryer) must meet national and local codes.
• EXHAUST SYSTEM – must be rigid metal or flexible stiff-walled metal exhaust ducting. See the ducting
and exhaust requirements on pages 10 - 11 and 13 and the dryer exhaust tips on page 20.

Gather the required tools and parts before starting the installation.
