Additional Features
WRINKLE SHIELD™ Feature
When you are unable to remove a load of clothes from the dryer
as soon as it stops, wrinkles can form. The WRINKLE SHIELD™
feature periodically tumbles, rearranges, and fluffs the load to help
keep wrinkles from forming.
Get up to 60 minutes of heat-free, periodic tumbling at the
end of a cycle. Pressing the WRINKLE SHIELD™ button to
turn ON or OFF at any time before the cycle has ended.
The WRINKLE SHIELD™ feature is preset to “OFF.” If selected
for other cycles, the WRINKLE SHIELD™ feature setting will
remain “ON” the next time that cycle is selected.
Signal
The Signal produces an audible sound when the drying cycle is
finished. Press the SIGNAL button to turn On or Off at any time
before the cycle has ended.
NOTE: When the WRINKLE SHIELD™ feature is selected and the
Signal is on, an audible sound will be emitted every 20 minutes
u
ntil the clothes are removed, or the WRINKLE SHIELD™ feature
is finished.
Control Lock/Unlock
This feature allows you to lock your settings to avoid unintended
use of the dryer. You can also use the Control Lock feature to
avoid unintended cycle or option changes during dryer operation.
To enable the Control Lock feature when dryer is running:
Press and hold the SIGNAL button for 3 seconds.
The control is locked when a single beep is heard
and the Control Lock status light is on.
To enable the Control Lock feature when dryer is OFF:
When the dryer is off, it is not necessary to press the POWER
button before activating the Control Lock feature.
To unlock:
Press and hold the SIGNAL button for 3 seconds to turn this
feature off.
NOTE: Wh
en the dryer is running and Control Lock is on, the
dryer can be stopped by pressing the START/PAUSE button,
but cannot be restarted until
the control is unlocked.
Changing Cycles and Settings
You can change Automatic Cycles, Timed Cycles, and the drying
temperature on Timed Cycles at any time before pressing Start.
Three short tones sound if an unavailable combination is
selected. The last selection will not be accepted.
Changing Cycles after starting dryer
1. Press the POWER button. This ends the current cycle and
turns the dryer OFF.
2. Pr
ess the POWER button again to turn on the dryer.
3. Select th
e desired cycle and options.
4. Press and hold START/PAUSE. The dryer starts at the
beginning of the new cycle.
Changing settings on Timed Cycles during the cycle
You can change the temperature setting at any time during the
cycle by pressing the TEMP button.
