Removal of access covers will expose
240V wiring. Do not remove the
terminal box cover unless the power
supply has been effectively
disconnected by an authorised
person.
Do not operate this water heater with
terminal box cover removed or loose.
This water heater is not intended to
be operated or adjusted by young
children or infirm persons. Young
children must be supervised to
ensure they do not interfere with the
water heater.
This water heater is intended to be
installed as a fixed appliance and
must be installed on a hard, level
surface. If installation is to be in a wet
area or a concrete floor, ensure the
water heater is mounted on a suitable
and substantial raised base.
If the electrical conduit to the water
heater is damaged, it must be
replaced by an authorised person in
order to avoid a hazard.

Victorian Building Act 1993. Only a
licensed professional will give you a
Compliance Certificate, showing that
the work complies with all the relevant
standards. Only a licensed person will
have insurance protecting their
workmanship.

Water temperature warnings
To meet regulatory requirements the
temperature of stored water heater
must not be less than 60°C.
The thermostat on your water heater
is factory pre-set to 65°C which is
suitable for the vast majority of
domestic applications.
The thermostat setting can be
adjusted between 50°C and 70°C.
Adjustment must be made by an
electrician or other suitably qualified
trades person.
