Control Keypads Control Indicator Lights
Note: All other indicator lights on the oven control are fea-
ture ON/OFF indicator lights.
Before Using the Oven for the
First Time
Oven must be properly installed by a qualified
technician before use.
Remove all packing materials from inside and outside
the oven.
While cool, wipe with a clean, damp cloth and dry.
There may be a slight odor during first uses; this is
normal and will disappear.
Optimum cooking results depend on proper cookware
being used.
Read and understand all safety precautions and Use
and Care Manual information prior to operating.
Use to turn the interior oven light ON
or OFF.
Use to set the time of day.
Used to enter the length of cooking
time needed.
Use to set a Self-Clean cycle.
Use to set or cancel the minute timer.
The minute timer does not start or
stop cooking.
Use to select the bake feature.
Use to select the variable broil
feature.
Door Lock icon pad activates oven
door lockout settings.
Convection is similar to Bake. Heat
comes from the lower burner and the
heat is circulated by a convection fan
(some models).
Use with the feature or function pads
to set oven temperature, bake time,
start time (when programming an
automatic start time), setting or
adjusting the clock and minute timer.
Use to clear any feature previously
entered except the time of day and
minute timer. Press Clear/Off to stop
cooking.
Light will glow each time the oven
turns on to maintain the set oven
temperature.
Light will glow when the oven is first
set to operate, or if the desired
temperature is reset higher than the
actual oven temperature.
Light will flash when the oven door
locks and unlocks, the oven door
lockout is active or when the Self-
Clean cycle feature is active.
