#1 It comes with the batteries, right?

Batteries are included, but I DO NOT RECOMMEND purchasing.
Hard to read display.

#2 Is this a pretty reliable phone and does it take rechargeable
batteries?

I have had it for a few months but sInce I only use it
occasionally, I have found it to be very reliable. Don’t know if it
will take rechargeable batteries.

#3 Can I screen my calls (be able to hear who's leaving the
message and pick up if I choose ) with the answering
machine?

Yes you can. I screen all my calls before answering.

#4 What is the expected range of this cordless phone?

The operating range varies and is dependent on the
environmental conditions and the time of use. We recommend
you place the main base unit in an open location for optimum
range and better reception.

#5 I understand the answering machine base can be wall
mounted, but can the extra handset also be wall mounted?

The charger for the additional handset is not designed for wall
mounting.

#6 Does second unit need to be phone jack plugged as well?

No. The second unit is only for charging. As long as a line is
connected to the main charger, all phones will be able to
function normally.
