The control panel
Initial burn-in
1. Operate cast-iron hotplates, without
placing utensils on them, on the highest
heat setting for about 1 to 2 minutes.
The odour rising from the hotplates is
caused by the burning-in of the
corrosion protection, and occurs only
during the initial use.
Preliminary cleaning:
1. Clean the appliance exterior with a soft
moistened cloth.
❑ Please observe the operating
instructions furnished with the hob.
❑ The switches are retractable. To engage
and disengage, depress the switch,
making sure that it is in OFF position.
❑ The control panel is illuminated. As
soon as you set a function, illumination
is switched on.
