How to use the hand blender/ whisk attachment

WARNING Cut Hazard. Always inspect attachments before each use. Do not use cracked, bent, or damaged attachments.

  • The hand blender is not designed for use over a heat source.
  • This appliance is not intended to chop ice. Add ice to beverage after blending.
  • Do not immerse the motor housing past the top metal portion of each blending attachment.
  1. Place food in a tall, deep container for blending. For best results, solid foods should be no larger than 1-inch (2.5-cm) chunks.
  2. Attach blending or whisk attachment to motor housing. Hold hand blender upright and turn motor housing clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen while holding the attachment.
  3. Plug into outlet.
  4. Grasp unit in hand. Push speed control button. Slowly move the attachment up, down, and sideways through the food.
  5. Do not immerse the motor housing past the top metal portion of each blending attachment.
  6. Unplug from outlet when not in use.

How to use the chopper
(optional accessory on select models)

  1. Place chopping blade into bowl, ensuring blade is seated securely. Put food into chopper bowl and place the motor housing on top, lining up the plastic notches. Twist clockwise to locked position.
  2. Choose desired chopping speed (I or II) and process until food has reached desired consistency. Running the chopper continuously will yield smoother food consistency, while pulsing will yield chunkier results.
  3. The rubber lid/base may also be used as a nonskid base under the chopper while in use.
  4. Remove motor housing from chopper and food from chopping bowl. Unplug from outlet when finished.

  • For thorough blending, move hand blender up and down in mixture until smooth.
  • To achieve best blending results, use deep, tall containers.
  • For easy cleanup, unplug hand blender and rinse attachments under running water immediately after using.
  • The plastic lid of the measuring jar may be flipped upside down and placed underneath the base of the jar in order to provide a more stable surface while blending.

Hamilton Beach 59762 Questions and Answers

#1 Does the whisk fall out for others? Just got this and the whisk attachment doesn't stay attached and just drops out when I turn the stick upright.
Your whisk is falling out because it is not locked into place. Turn the motor housing (better leverage that way) until you encounter resistance. Then firmly turn just a bit more. You will hear a click. That click tells you that the whisk is locked into place.

#2 Is the power botton hard to push? Does it take a lot of force to hold power botton even if for a few seconds?
No it's very easy to push. There are 2 speed I like the lower speed to whisk eggs. I use it all the time.
