TestsforSARareconductedusingstandardoperatingpositionsspecifiedbytheFCC
withthedevicetransmittingatitshighestcertifiedpowerlevelinalltestedfrequency
bands.AlthoughSARisdeterminedatthehighestcertifiedpowerlevel,theactualSAR
levelofthedevicewhileoperatingcanbewellbelowthemaximumvalue.Becausethe
deviceisdesignedtooperateatmultiplepowerlevelstouseonlythepowerrequiredto
reachthenetwork,ingeneral,thecloseryouaretoawirelessbasestationantenna,the
lowerthepoweroutput.
Beforeadevicemodelisavailableforsaletothepublic,itmustbetestedandcertified
totheFCCthatitdoesnotexceedthelimitesta
blishedbythegovernment-adopted
requirementforsafeexposure.Thetestsareperformedinpositionsandlocations(e.g.,
attheearandwornonthebody)asrequiredbytheFCCforeachmodel.
ThehighestSARvalueforthisdevicewhenwornonthebody,asdescribedinthisuser
guide,is0.77W/kg.(body-wornmeasurementsdifferamongdevicemodels,depending
uponavailableaccessoriesandFCCrequirements).Whiletheremaybedifferences
betweenSARlevelsofvariousdevicesandatvariouspositions,theyallmeetthe
governmentrequirementforsafeexposure.

reportedSARlevelsevaluatedasincompliancewiththeFCCRFemissionguidelines.
