GE - General Electric DFE29JMDEES Questions and Answers

#1 How do you change the led lights in the fridge that are on
the top? I'm seriously thinking about buying this, but what
to know it the lights go out if it's a problem to change them.

The lights will have to be changed by service. The lights are
rated to last for many years.

#2 On the bottom of the left door, I see 2 led lamps. When I
open the door only one lights up the freezer. what is
purpose of the second one. The second one is not
functioning. Is it suppose to light up ?

This model features 1 LED light. The other is an empty "LED"
on the light board that is used with other models

#3 Is the slate finish also magnetic?

Slate is a highly engineered, low-gloss matte metallic paint
finish and will hold a magnet.

#4 Does anyone have any hints on how to get all of the
protective film removed from around the handles and
edges??

You can use a razor blade to score the film around the edges
so you can remove it. You can also try removing the rest of the
film with tweezers.
