Changing a wheel

When using the non-uniform spare
wheel, do not exceed a speed of
50mph(80km/h).
The spare wheel is not designed to
beusedoverlongdistances.Have
the tightening of the bolts and the tyre
pressurecheckedbyaCITROËN
dealeroraqualiedworkshopassoon
aspossible.
Have the original wheel repaired
andrettedbyaCITROËNdealer
oraqualiedworkshopassoonas
possible.
5. Fitting the spare wheel
- Position the wheel on the hub and
starttighteningtheboltsbyhand.
- Carry out an initial tightening of the
boltsusingthewheelbrace.
- Lower the vehicle completely by
foldingthejack,thenremovethe
jack.
- Tighten the bolts again using the
wheelbrace, tighten them fully
withoutforcingthem.
- Place the wheel to be repaired in
thecarrier.
- Securethecarrieronthehookthen
raise the carrier by tightening the
boltwiththewheelbrace.
- Fullytightenthebolt,thencheck
thatthewheelisheldatagainst
theoor.
If this is not the case, repeat the
operation.
Never go underneath a vehicle
thatissupportedonlybyajack
(useastand).
Never use a power driver in place of
thewheelbrace.
