Berry Cherry Smoothie
This kid-friendly smoothie is a vitamin-packed way
to start the day.
Makes about 4 cups
½ cups orange juice
½ cup plain yogurt
2 ripe bananas, quartered
1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
1 cup frozen blueberries
2 cups frozen cherries
1 to 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
1. Put ingredients into the blender jar in order
listed.
2. Blend on High until smooth, about 1 minute.
3. Serve immediately.

2 tablespoons protein powder
3 tablespoons almond butter (any nut
butter may be substituted)
2 tablespoons honey
2 ripe bananas, quartered
1 cup frozen peaches
1 cup frozen blueberries

Kale Smoothie
Green smoothies are all the rage for good reason –
they are packed with nutrients and are a great way to
start the day. This is what we like to call the beginner’s
smoothie, for the mango and strawberries add just the
right amount of sweetness to balance out the kale.
Makes about 2½ cups
1 cup almond milk, or orange juice
4 stems locinato kale, trimmed of hard
stems and cut into 2-inch pieces (2 cups
chopped)
1 medium apple, cored and cut into 1-inch
pieces
½ cup frozen mango
½ cup frozen strawberries
1. Put all ingredients into blender jar in the order
listed.
2. Blend on High until completely smooth and bright
green, for 1½ minutes.
3. Serve immediately.
