5. USING YOUR APPLIANCE
7. TIPS
6. HOT ZONE
In order to prolong the life of the non-
stick coating on the grill tray:
- Only use wooden or heat-resistant
plastic utensils.
- Do not cut food on the tray or use
sharp objects for handling food items.
- Do not leave plastic objects that may
melt on the tray whilst switched on.
Make sure food items are cut uniformly
in order to ensure optimum results.
The grill is equipped with a hotter zone
“hot zone”. This zone is hotter that
the rest of the grill, and can be used
for cooking foods with different heat
requirements at the same time.
8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, unplug the appliance from
the mains and leave to cool.
Unplug the connection assembly from the
plug box before cleaning the grill tray.
9. STORAGE
Store the mains connection assembly in
such a way as to prevent it falling or being
knocked.
Before storing, make sure the appliance is
clean and dry.
Store the barbecue on a stable surface.
Grill plate
Clean the grill plate with warm soapy water
and a soft sponge. After cleaning, dry the
grill plate, paying special attention to the
plug box, which should be dried thoroughly.
Do not use metal scourers or abrasive
detergents that may damage the non-stick
surface. The plate can also be washed in
the dishwasher. After each wash, coat the
grill plate with salad oil, margarine or butter.
Drip tray
Clean with warm water and detergent. The
tray can also be washed in the dishwasher.
Mains connection assembly
Clean the outside of the connection
assembly by wiping with a damp cloth. Do
not submerge the assembly in water or
any other liquid.
10. INFORMATION FOR THE
CORRECT DISPOSAL OF ELECTRICAL
AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES
At the end of its working
life, the product must not
be disposed of as urban
waste. It must be taken to
a special local authority
differentiated waste
collection centre or to a
dealer providing this service. Disposing of
a household appliance separately avoids
possible negative consequences for the
environment and health deriving from
inappropriate disposal and enables the
constituent materials to be recovered to
obtain significant savings in energy and
resources.
