Consignes de sécurité
Conserver le mode d‘emploi
IL EST ESSENTIEL QUE LES UTILISATEURS RESPECTENT LE MODE D‘EMPLOI ET LES CONSIGNES DE
SÉCURITÉ, AFIN D‘ÉVITER LES BLESSURES, LES DOMMAGES ET LES PRÉJUDICES.
Il est essentiel que les utilisateurs respectent le mode
d‘emploi et les consignes de sécurité, a n d‘éviter les
blessures, les dommages et les préjudices.
N‘utilisez pas la machine si elle est défectueuse. Au premier
signe d‘une défaillance, de bruits inhabituels ou d‘odeurs,
éteignez la machine et débranchez la prise.
N‘utilisez la machine que si le cordon d‘alimentation est
intact. Faites aussitôt remplacer tout cordon défectueux par
le club Nespresso uniquement.
Ne branchez la machine que sur une prise dotée d‘une mise
à terre. Assurez-vous que la tension du réseau correspond
aux données inscrites sur la plaquette d‘identi cation de
la machine (située sous la machine). Risque d‘incendie ou
d‘électrocution.
Posez la machine sur une surface plane et résistante à la
chaleur a n d‘éviter tout risque d‘incendie.
Ne posez pas le cordon d‘alimentation près de sources de
chaleurs ou sur des arrêtes vives. Débranchez en tirant la
che et non en tirant le cordon lui-même: il pourrait être
endommagé.
Ne faites pas pendre le cordon d‘alimentation. Placez-le
de telle façon qu‘il n‘existe aucun risque de faire trébucher
quelqu‘un.
Cet appareil n‘est pas conçu pour être utilisé par des
personnes (y compris les enfants) à aptitudes physiques,
sensorielles ou mentales réduites, manquant d‘expérience
et de connaissances, à moins qu‘elles n‘aient fait l‘objet
d‘une première supervision ou n‘aient reçu des instructions
concernant l‘emploi de l‘appareil par une personne respons-
able de leur sécurité.
Utilisez toujours le réservoir à lait avec le couvercle et la
buse lait qui sont fournis, pour la préparation de recettes à
base de lait. Risque de brûlures.
Après utilisation, la buse lait reste très chaude.
Ne pas la toucher ! Risque de brûlures !
Si le volume du lungo est programmé à plus de 150 ml,
il est obligatoire d‘attendre 5mn avant de faire le lungo
suivant.
Ne mettez jamais vos doigts à l‘intérieur du compartiment
à capsules. Risque de blessures ! Ne jamais ouvrir l‘appareil,
ne rien mettre dans les ouvertures de l‘appareil. Risque
d‘électrocution ! Toute opération non décrite dans ce
mode d‘emploi relève de la compétence de notre service
après-vente.
Nettoyez la machine soigneusement et régulièrement. Des
salissures peuvent causer des dommages. Débranchez la
machine et attendez qu‘elle refroidisse avant de la nettoyer.
Détartrez la machine régulièrement en suivant les
instructions. Sans cela, la machine peut s‘endommager et
présenter un risque.
Assurez-vous que toutes les connections électriques, les
prises et le cordon d‘alimentation sont secs. Ne plongez
jamais la machine dans l‘eau. Mettez-la à l‘abri de toute
éclaboussure. L‘électricité et l‘eau représentent un risque
d‘électrocution.
Retirez la che de la prise en cas d‘absence prolongée
(vacances etc…).

Safety Instructions
Keep these instructions safe
IT IS ESSENTIAL FOR USERS TO OBSERVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND SAFETY PRECAU-
TIONS IN ORDER TO AVOID INJURIES, DAMAGE TO HEALTH AND HARM.
It is essential for users to observe these instructions for use
and safety precautions in order to avoid injuries, damage to
health and harm.
Do not use the machine if damaged. At the rst sign of a
defect, unusual noises or smells switch the machine o
and unplug from the socket. Risk of electric shock and re.
Contact the Nespresso Club.
Only use the machine if the cable is intact. Arrange for
replacement of damaged cables from Nespresso Club only.
Risk of fatal electric shock!
Only plug the machine into suitable, earthed mains connec-
tions. Make sure that the power supply meets speci cations
on the identi cation plate of the machine (see underside
of machine). Otherwise there is a risk from re and electric
shock!
Place the machine on an even, heat-resistant surface to
avoid re hazard. Store and use the machine indoors only.
Do not put the cable near sources of heat or on sharp edges
and the like. Disconnect by pulling out the plug and not
pulling the cable itself, or the cable may be damaged.
Do not allow the cable to dangle! Arrange the cable so that
there is no risk of tripping over it!
The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabili-
ties, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
Always use the milk container with lid and milk nozzle that
are included in supply for milk recipes. Otherwise there is a
risk of scalding.
After use the milk nozzle will still be very hot. Do not touch!
Risk of burns!
If co ee volumes higher than 150 ml are programmed: Let
the machine heat for 5 minutes before making the next
co ee.
Never put your hand inside the space for the capsules. Risk
of injury! Never remove the housing from the machine. Do
not insert any objects into the openings. This may result
in danger of electric shock! Any work that is not described
in these instructions should only be carried out by the
Nespresso Club!
Clean the machine with care at regular intervals. Soiling
may cause damage to health. Unplug the machine and
allow to cool o before cleaning.
Descale the machine at regular intervals according to the
instructions. Otherwise the machine may become damaged
and pose risk to health.
Make sure all electrical connections, plugs and cables are dry.
Never submerge the machine in liquids. Protect the machine
from dripping or splashing water. Electricity and water
together pose a risk to life from electric shock.
If the machine is out of use for a longer period (holidays
etc.) unplug it from the mains.

Always close the lever. Never open the lever while the machine is running. Only use the machine with the drip tray and grid.
Your machine is made of high-quality material that can be reused or recycled. Take it to a collection point.
To dispose of it unplug from mains by pulling the plug out of the socket. Then cut the cable o as close as possible to the
housing of the machine.
Important information for correct disposal of the product in accordance with EC Directive 2002/96/EC.
At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as urban waste.
It must be taken to a special local authority di erentiated waste collection centre or to a dealer providing this service.
Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the environment and health deriving
