Problem Possible cause and solution
At the end of the pro-
gram, the alarm tone
sounds and the display
shows the following
message:
Fault F 601: A fault has
occurred; turn the appliance
off and back on again.
Restart the program. If the
fault occurs again, contact
Miele Service.
There is a fault in the AutoDos.
Turn the dishwasher off and back on again.
Check whether the PowerDisk holder and the
PowerDisk have been installed correctly (see “Au-
tomatic dispensing/AutoDos” under “Detergent”).
Activate the AutoDos function and restart the pro-
gram.
If the fault message appears again, there is a techni-
cal fault. You can continue to use your dishwasher by
deactivating AutoDos in the Options menu of a pro-
gram and manually dispensing the detergent via the
detergent compartment.
If you wish to use AutoDos again, contact Miele
Customer Service.

nance. Please check Auto-
Dos system.
The dishwasher does
not turn off at the end
of the program.
The dishware may not
be clean because an in-
sufficient amount of de-
tergent was dispensed.
The AutoDos function is
automatically deacti-
vated during the pro-
gram sequence.
An empty PowerDisk has been inserted or the Auto-
Dos is blocked by residual detergent. Detergent
dosage is insufficient.
The AutoDos function was automatically deactivated.
Turn the dishwasher off and back on again.
Multiple messages appear in the display.
Clean the fill channel of the AutoDos (see “Clean-
ing the AutoDos” under “Detergent”).
Clean the lower spray arm (see “Cleaning the
spray arms” under “Cleaning and care”).
Select OK to confirm each message.
Activate the AutoDos function by confirming the
message AutoDos available using OK.
Start the program again.
The program duration will be extended by up to
2.5hours to flush out the AutoDos detergent outlet.
