Summit PRO201SS Questions and Answers

#1 How do you know what temperature the oven is set for?

The oven is not set to any temperature. The control knob
at the left of the front knobs is used by the operator (cook) to control the desired temperature. With a pushdown and turning motion (clockwise) of the oven control knob the oven temp can be set to the desired temperature.

#2 The description mentions "indicator lights". what are these? (are they on each burner knob?)

Yes, the indicator lights tell you when a burner is on.

#3 What does "sealed burners" mean?

There are two types of burners for gas ranges: Open and Sealed. Open leaves the burner section fully open and sealed closes it off. This "sealing" doesn't affect the flame much but it is a more refined look and prevents crumbs or grease or any debris from getting into the burner itself.

#4 is it self cleaning?

This stove is not self-cleaning.

#5 Does the oven hold the temperature consistently?

This model unit functions like most other units. The thermostat on the unit will work to maintain the goal cooking temperature by igniting/heating the inside and then cycling off and on to keep the temperature/heat.
