Important Safety Instructions

Warning: To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose the unit to rain or moisture. To avoid electrical shock, do not dismantle. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

1. Read these instructions thoroughly and retain for future reference.
2. When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
4. This product is not a toy! Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
5. Any repairs must be done by qualified service personnel. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Do not attempt to repair by yourself.
6. Do not expose this speaker to water, corrosive liquids or gases. Store the speaker in a clean, dry place.
7. Keep the unit free from dust and away from heat sources, direct sunlight, humidity, water or other liquids.
8. Do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids.
9. Do not place any naked flame sources such as lit candles on or near the speaker.
10. Clean only with a soft, dry cloth.
11. Do not cover the speaker during use.
12. Do not operate the unit if it has been exposed to water, moisture or any other liquid in order to prevent electric shock, explosion and/or injury to yourself and damage to the unit.
13. Do not use the unit for anything other than its intended use.
14. Do not play music at excessive volume levels as this can cause hearing loss or damage the unit.

Remote Control

Note: The remote control buttons (including Power Button) will not work when the ON/OFF Switch on the unit is in the OFF position.

1. Power Button

When ON/OFF Switch on the unit is in the on position, press the remote control Power Button to switch between standby and on.

2. Mode

Press repeatedly to select the following modes: LINE (Aux-ln)/USB/microSD/FM Radio/Wireless BT. Press and hold to turn the voice prompt ON/OFF.

3. Previous Song

In USB/microSD mode, press once to go back to the previous song; press and hold for 3 seconds to rewind the current song.

In Wireless BT mode, press once to go back to the previous song. In FM mode, press once to go back to the previous channel.

In LINE IN/AUX-ln mode, this button has no function.

4. Pause/Play

In USB/microSD/BT mode, press this button to play/pause a song.

In FM mode, press once to scan or stop the auto scanning.

In LINE IN/AUX-ln mode, this button has no function.

5. Repeat

Press to repeat one song or repeat all songs.

In Wireless BT mode, this button has no function.

6. Number Buttons

In USB/microSD mode, press to select a song.

In FM Radio mode, press to select a channel.

For the other modes, these buttons have no function.

7. Mute

Press once to mute the sound in any mode.

8. U/SD

Press to select USB/microSD Card mode.

9. Volume+

Press to increase the volume in any mode.

10. Next Song

In USB/microSD mode, press once to skip to the next song; press and hold for 3 seconds to fast forward.

In Wireless BT mode, press once to skip to the next song.

In FM mode, press once to skip to the next channel.

In LINE IN (AUX- In) mode, this button has no function.

11. Volume-

Press to turn the volume down in any mode.

12. EQ (Equilibrium)

Press to switch between the different EQ settings: 0 (Flat), 1 (Rock), 2 (Pop), 3 (Classic), 4 (Jazz) and 5 (Country).

Charging the Battery

1. Turn off the unit before charging the battery.
2. Charge the speaker fully before using it for the first time and whenever the sound becomes weak. Charge the speaker before the battery is fully discharged.
3. Use DC 5V, 1A power adaptor to charge the unit or connect it to the USB output port of a computer or similar. The LED charging indicator light turns on red during charging.
4. When fully charged, the LED charging indicator turns blue. Remove the charging cable promptly.
5. It takes about 3-4 hours to fully charge the battery.

Battery RunTime: Around 2 hours.

Installation and Placement

1. Place the unit in a dry, well ventilated space.
2. Connect the desired playback source and set the mode accordingly.
3. Adjust the control buttons according to your needs.

Bluetooth Connection:

• Place the speaker within 10 metres (max. Bluetooth range) of your Bluetooth enabled device.
• Press 'Mode' Button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
• Enable Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth enabled smartphone, tablet or media player; navigate to the Bluetooth setting menu, and search for new devices. The Bluetooth name for this speaker is 'XS-N3119BA'.
• Press and release 'Previous' or 'Next' Button to play the previous or next song.

FM Radio Playback:

• Press the 'Mode' Button to switch to FM Radio mode.
• Press the 'Play/Pause/Scan' Button to search for available FM channels automatically. Once the search is complete, the speaker will store the channels automatically.
• To stop automatic search, press the 'Play/Pause/Scan' Button again.
• Press the 'Previous' or 'Next1 Buttons to switch between the channels.

USB/microSD/AUX Input:

Connect a USB/microSD memory device, or an AUX cable connected to your device, to the appropriate port. Use the 'Mode' Button to switch to the correct mode; you can also use the U/SD Button to select USB/microSD mode.

Note:

• Only MP3 formats are compatible.
• Maximum size of the USB/ microSD device that can be connected is 32GB.

Microphone Input

• Connect a microphone to the Microphone Input on the top of the unit.
• Adjust the microphone volume using the main volume dial.

Lightshow Function

• Set the Lightshow Switch on the unit to the ON position to turn on the lightshow.
• Set it to the OFF position to turn off the lightshow.

Maintenance

1. Once you have finished using the unit, set the ON/OFF switch on the unit to the OFF position.
2. Ensure there is no dust or dirt on the unit at any time.
3. If the sound is distorted, please turn the volume down.
