IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
General Safety
Do not touch hot surfaces, such as the
surface of the filled glass teapot. Use the
handle.
Do not use the teapot if it is cracked,
scratched, or chipped.
Check for cracks or damage before
using, especially if there are signs of

It may slip, spill hot liquid, or fall.
Do not clean with steel wool, abrasive
cleaners, or any other material that may
scratch the teapot.
Do notll the teapot above the “MAX

the “MIN” line when heating on the
stovetop.
To avoid scalding, always handle with
care when there is hot water inside the
teapot.
Closely supervise children near the

USING YOUR TEAPOT
Note: Adjust depending on the
instructions on your tea packaging or
your personal preference.
WARNING: Handle with care when
serving to avoid scalding.
[Figure 1.1]
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove all packaging from the
teapot and its accessories.
2. Carefully wash the teapot, infuser,
inner ring, and lid under running
water. Avoid hitting the faucet or
other hard surfaces when washing,
as the glass may break from impact
[Figure 1.1]. Dry all parts.
3. Place the inner ring in the teapot. If
it fits too loosely, you can adjust the
tightness of the ring by using a tool
to adjust the 3 tabs on the ring (see
page 9).
4. Now, you are ready to brew tea or
boil water.
1. Add boiled water to the teapot above
the “MIN” mark, or boil water in the
teapot (see Boiling Water). Do not fill
above the “MAX” line. Wipe any water
from the outside of the teapot.
2. Add tea leaves to the infuser. Use 1 US
tsp / 4 g of leaves per 1 US cup / 250 mL
of water.
1. Remove the infuser and lid from the
teapot and fill with water above the
MIN” mark. Do not fill above the
MAX” line. Wipe any water from the
outside of the teapot.
2. Put the lid on the teapot and place the
teapot on the stove.
3. Turn the stove on low heat. Once the
water boils, turn o the stove.
WARNING: Do not remove the teapot
from the packaging if it is broken. Contact
Customer Support immediately to replace
your teapot (see page 11).
Brewing Tea Boiling Water
3. Carefully place the infuser inside the
teapot and cover with the lid.
4. Allow the tea to steep for several
minutes before serving. You can adjust
the steeping time for a weaker or
stronger brew.
WARNING:
Only use the teapot on a gas or electric
stovetop. Do not use on an induction
stove.
When using on a gas stovetop, only
use with low heat. Make sure the flames
do not extend past the bottom rim of
the teapot.
WARNING:
Handle the teapot carefully after boiling
water as the handle may be hot.
Do not leave the teapot unattended
while boiling water. Turn o the stove
immediately when the water boils.

CARE & MAINTENANCE CARE & MAINTENANCE (CONT.)
Note:
You can use vinegar or lemon
juice to descale the teapot.
The teapot, infuser, and inner ring
are dishwasher-safe. Do not place
the lid in a dishwasher.
Note:
Do not use steel wool, as this can
scratch the teapot.
Note: Avoid hitting the faucet or other
hard surfaces when washing, as the
glass may break from impact.
1. After every use, remove the infuser and
discard the used tea leaves.
2. Carefully wash the teapot, infuser, inner
ring, and lid with mild soap and hot water.
If the inner ring fits too loosely or is too
hard to take o, you can adjust the tightness
of the inner ring.
1. Take o the inner ring.
2. Use a tool to adjust the 3 tabs on the
inner ring. [Figure 2.2]
a. If you push the tabs in, the ring
will fit more loosely, and will be
easier to put on and take o.
b. If you push the tabs out, the ring
will fit more tightly, and will not
come o as easily.
3. After adjusting the tabs, put the ring back
on and take it o again to see if the fit is
correct. If not, adjust the tabs again until
the ring fits the way you prefer.
1. Remove the infuser and discard the used
tea leaves.
2. Wet the infuser with water, and sprinkle
baking soda onto it.
3. Scrub the infuser with a brush, and wipe
it with a damp cloth.
4. Rinse the infuser with water.
5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until clean.
1. Remove the infuser and discard the used
tea leaves.
2. Fill a small container or bowl with
vinegar.
3. Put vinegar and water into the infuser.
The vinegar-to-water ratio should be 1:1.
4. Let the infuser soak for 2 hours.
5. Scrub the infuser with a brush, and wipe
it with a damp cloth.
6. Rinse with clean water.
1. Squeeze half a lemon into the teapot, or add
baking soda into the teapot.
2. Add ½ US cup / 118 mL of water to the teapot.
3. Scrub the teapot’s inner walls with a non-
scratch scrub sponge.
4. You can clean the inside of the spout with a
soft brush or small cloth through it.
[Figure 2.1]
5. Pour out the mixture, then wipe o any
remaining scale with a non-abrasive
cloth, sponge, or cleaning brush.
6. Repeat as needed.
You should descale the teapot at least once a
week if you use it frequently. Descaling removes
any mineral deposits that have built up inside
the teapot. Always descale the teapot before and
after storing for long periods of time.
Store the teapot in a safe place or inside
of its box.
Do not store the teapot where it may
fall, be bumped, or knocked over. Glass
may break.
Store the teapot out of reach of children
