Installation Overview
• Drain Pan with Mounting Holes
• Drain Plug 3/4” FPT
THE ACCESSORY DRAIN PAN (RAVDP18) MUST BE INSTALLED BEFORE
INSTALLING THE UNIT. The drain pan will only work if installed correctly. Make sure to install and seal
the drain pan in the correct orientation as shown in the following illustrations.
Silicone Caulk (recommended)
Appropriate Mounting Screws to secure drain pan to floor
Pipe Sealant or Teflon tape
Condensate drain pipe/elbows
Drain Pan
Apply pipe sealant
or Teflon tape

NOTE: THE ACCESSORY DRAIN PAN
(RAVDP18) MUST BE INSTALLED
BEFORE INSTALLING THE UNIT. This
kit is only used on the 18,000 units with a
chassis height of 47 inches.
1. The accessory drain pan has two (2)
provisions (left and right) for connecting
to an external condensate drain.
2. A field supplied condensate drain
system must be connected to one of the
two 3/4” FPT connections.
3. The remaining connection must be
plugged using the 3/4” plug (provided).
The pipe threads must be sealed with
field supplied Teflon tape or sealant
before securing the drain plug to the
drain pan.
4. Failure to follow these procedures may
result in serious property damage.
5. Kit RAVDP18 is the primary drain pan.
A field supplied secondary condensate
pan is recommended and may be
required. Check with your local and
national building/plumbing codes.
