7.4 Cleaning the filter drawer
Lint and ber that could not be captured by
the lint lter are blocked in the lter drawer
behind the kick plate. Clean the lter periodi-
cally when there is visible air collection on
it or when the symbol lights up, if there is a
lter drawer cleaning warning symbol «
»
available.
There is an one stage lter. This one stage
lter is from sponge
To clean the lter drawer:
• Press the kick plate button to open the
kick plate.
• Remove the filter drawer cover by turning
it in the direction of arrow.
• Pull out the filter drawer.
• Open the filter drawer by pressing the
red button.
• Take out the filter drawer sponge.
• Wash the filter drawer sponge by hand to
remove the fiber and lint on the surface.
After washing the sponge, squeeze it by
hand and remove the excess water. Well-
dry the sponge before storing it.

It is not necessary to clean the
sponge if lint and ber accumula-
tion on it is not signicant.
• Place the sponge back into its place.

inside the frame of the lter cas-
sette shown by arrows in order
to avoid squeezing when lter
drawer closed”.:
