CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Always turn off the unit and unplug from the mains before cleaning or
performing any maintenance. If the unit is not to be used for a prolonged
period it is advisable to unplug it from the mains. Do not use chemical
solvents (such as benzene, alcohol or gasoline) as they may cause
irreversible damage to the unit.
CLEAN THE EXTERNAL CASE
Only use tepid water and a mild detergent on soft cloth. Do not use bleach or
abrasives. Do not splash water directly onto the device. Avoid wetting the DC power
port. Doing so may cause an electrical shock and can lead to deterioration of the
electrical insulation, or cause the unit to rust.
CLEAN THE FILTER AND THE FILTER HOLDING AREA
Vacuum the filter gently every 2-3 weeks or more often if used in a dustier
environment. Please make sure the filter is not damaged during the process
and replace if necessary. Wipe the filter holding area with a dry cloth.
CLEAN THE FILTER COVER AND CLEAN AIR OUTLET
Use water and a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or abrasives. Do not spray water onto or inside the unit. If the
clean air outlet grilles are dirty, use a vacuum attachment or soft brush to clean.
Clean the filter cover with a vacuum cleaner, if it is heavily soiled remove it from the unit and wash with warm
soapy water. It must be dried thoroughly before reinserting it in the unit.
NOTE: Do not assemble the unit and power it before all the parts are completely dry. Any maintenance not
described in this user manual must be performed by the service centre.
