#1 Is this a infrared heater?

No, just a stanard heating element behind a glass front, rear top vented.

#2 How do I set the time on this heater I have followed instructions but just changes hour not minutes?

I guess I just received someone else's returned product. It is not possible to set the timer following the instructions in the manual. Hold timer for 3s and the hour begins to flash. Press either the up or down button and you are returned to the top level. Wifi connection doesn't work at all. And now I have to pay for return postage? I expect that when I return this they will just ship it out to someone else again.

#3 I’m trying to set the weekly timer……is Day 1 Monday or Sunday and can you set for more than one period each day, eg morning and evening?

Sunday is day one and you can set a schedule for as many times a day as you want I only do one so on in the evening off the following morning.
