Cuisinart 630-30 Questions and Answers

#1 Is it a induction cookware? Is the handle getting too hot while cooking?

I don't believe this line is induction-ready, but Cuisinart makes a similar line that is. Handle does not get hot when cooking and it cooks evenly.

#2 Is this pan for induction cooking i have an induction range and need cookware for it?

This pan is NOT for induction cooking. I tried it on my mom's induction stove; and it didn't work.

#3 Is this pot dishwasher safe?

Never put any nonstick coated cookware in dishwasher, I never put any cookware in the dishwasher nonstick or otherwise.

#4 Does it can work on electric stove top?

No problem cooking on an electric stove.

#5 Is the pan induction ready?

No it is not. The pan is made out of aluminum, which is not a ferrous metal. Induction cooktops require using cookware that a magnet will stick on. Cast iron and carbon steel pans are the natural cookware choices. Stainless steel pans have to be made with 18/0(zero) steel to be compatible. All other cookware metals require a thin layer of 18/0 stainless steel on the base of the pan for them to work on an induction stove.

#6 What is the depth of this pot?

I just measured it and it is 5 inches deep.

#7 Can you make an omelete and pancakes with it?

Yes you can. It works fantastic. It is a bit big for an omlet pan, but it does work for a larger omlet. This is one of the best pans I've had in a long time. I'll most likely get more.
