Sony MPK-TRA2 Questions and Answers

#1 How to obtain replacement parts, accessories or software for a Sony product.

Replacement parts, accessories, and software for Sony® products can be obtained from Sony Parts and Accessories. Go to Parts and Accessories.

NOTE: If the item that you are looking for has been discontinued or is not available from the Sony Parts and Accessories department, you may also be able to find it by doing an online search or at online retailers like Amazon.com.

#2 What is the life expectancy of a Sony® product?

It is difficult for Sony or any other manufacturer to quote the life expectancy for a product. Certain variables, such as the amount of use (or lack thereof) a product receives and the environmental conditions in which a product is being used, play a part in the life expectancy of a product.

#3 Do products that use magnets affect medical devices such as pacemakers?

Medical devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, or variable pressure shunts for hydrocephalus treatment may be affected depending on the magnetic field of the magnet in the product.

If you use one of these medical devices, consult your doctor before using a Sony product that contains magnets, as some of said products may affect the medical device.
In addition, even if you turn off the product, the magnet in the product may still affect medical devices. Make sure to keep the product away from medical devices and people using medical devices.

NOTE: In the example of Sony products, parts such as speakers, headphones, cases, or the opening/closing portion of the product's package may contain magnets. Speakers may be built into TVs, cameras, or smartphones.
