The following numbers of characters are recommended when you display lyrics on the Walkman.
Single-byte characters (for example, alphanumeric characters): 40 characters per line.
2-byte characters (for example, Chinese characters): 20 characters per line.
On a Mac computer, you can create lyrics using “TextEdit” and other text editors. Follow the same procedure as that described above to enter the
lyrics or time information in the “Plain text” setting.
Copyright notice
When you create LRC files using copyrighted materials authored by others, the LRC files are limited to private use only. Use of
LRC files for other purposes requires the permission of the copyright holders.

You can omit hundredths of a second.

Save the file.
Select [UTF-8] as the character encoding.
Set the same file name as the audio file.
Set [.lrc] as the extension.
The maximum file size is 512 KB.
If a text line cannot fit on the screen, it will be wrapped.
The number of lines of text that can be displayed simultaneously depends on the Walkman model.
CR, CRLF, and LF line breaks are all recognized.
Blank text lines will be skipped.

Connect your Walkman to the computer via USB.

Open the [WALKMAN] folder according to one of the following procedures.
Windows 7 or earlier versions:
Select [Start], [Computer], and then [WALKMAN].
Windows 8.1:
Open [File Explorer] from [Desktop]. Select [WALKMAN] from the list under [This PC].
Windows 10:
Open [File Explorer] from the [Start] menu. Select [WALKMAN] from the left pane.
You can also transfer content to a microSD card.
Select the folder with the name of the microSD card instead of [WALKMAN].

Create a new folder in the [MUSIC] folder under [WALKMAN]. Then, drag-and-drop both the track and the LRC file into the
new folder to transfer them.
