● Oil level is between the upper and lower

● Brake fluid level is
Front: above the LOWER level mark. 2 P. 69
Rear: between the UPPER and LOWER level

● Engine coolant level is between the UPPER
and LOWER level marks. 2 P. 67
● Side stand functions properly. 2 P. 72
Before riding off-road check all of the preceding
plus the following:
● Make sure spokes are tight. Check the rims
for any damage. 2 P. 78
● Oil level is between the upper and lower
marks. 2 P. 62
● Check the fuel level and refuel when
needed. 2 P. 14, 2 P. 32
● Be sure the fuel fill cap is securely fastened.

● Clutch lever operates smoothly. Adjust
freeplay if necessary. 2 P. 79

Check for loose cables and other parts, and
anything that appears abnormal.

Use a wrench to check the tightness of all
accessible nuts, bolts and fasteners.
