Advanced Features
Configure features on your device that make it easier to use.
SPen
Configure options and settings for the S Pen.
To configure settings for the S Pen:
► From a Home screen, tap
Apps >
Settings >
Advanced
features > S Pen.
– or –
From Air
Command tap
Settings.
The following options are available:
•
Air command: Manage the shortcuts displayed
on the Air command menu. You can also
minimize the Air command menu into a floating
icon that can be moved around on the screen.
•
Air view: Preview information, extend text, or
enlarge pictures by hovering your S Pen over the
screen.
•
Direct pen input: This feature allows you to
switch from the keyboard to the S Pen when
filling in form fields.
•
Pointer: The pointer appears on the screen
when the tip of the SPen is hovering close
enough. Holding the pointer over some features
can reveal what an item is or what it does.
•
Detachment options: Indicate the action to take
when the S Pen is detached from the device.
•
Screen off memo: Create action memos by
detaching the S Pen while the screen is off and
writing on the screen.
