#1 Can you see the display during the daytime with sunlight? Also, can I use a SONY wiring harness that is already installed in my car for this one?

Visibility can vary depending on the conditions and vehicle but are displayed through the unit. If you have an existing after market stereo, the vehicle harness can be used again.

#2 Will it work with 4 speakers?

Yes, it will provide around 17 watts rms to four speakers at 4ohms. Pretty much any aftermarket head unit will. This one is pretty adequate with the built in crossovers and some efficient speakers

#3 Does this radio work with dash or steering wheel function buttons?

Steering wheel functions? ... I don't understand the question. Therefore, my answer is: I don't know. However, I can state unequivocally, this unit has performed beyond any expected expectations.

#4 I have a red boat and was wondering if the blue lights on the faceplate will change to red to match the interior of my boat?

Yes the stereo will change to any color on the color chart and if it's an off color you can build the color yourself and red is one of them
