1 Important safety and environmental
instructions
Ths secton contans safety nstructons that wll help
protect from rsk of personal njury or property damage.
Falure to follow these nstructons shall vod any warranty.
1.1 General safety
• Dryer can be used by the chldren at the age of 8 and
over and the persons wth physcal, sensory or mental
dsorders or unlearned or nexperenced people as long as
they are attended by a person who wll be responsble for
ther safety or who wll nstruct them accordngly about
use of the product. Chldren should not tamper wth the
machne. Cleanng and user mantenance works should not
be carred out by the chldren unless they are attended by
someone.
• Chldren of less than 3 years should be kept away unless
contnously supervsed.
• Adjustable feet should not be removed. (See Overvew)
The gap between the dryer and the surface should not be
reduced by the materals such as carpet, wood and tape.
Ths wll cause problems wth the dryer.
• Always have the nstallaton and reparng procedures
carred out by the Authorzed Servce Agent.
Manufacturer shall not be held lable for damages that
may arse from procedures carred out by unauthorzed
persons.
• Never wash the dryer by sprayng or pourng water onto t!

1.1.1 Electrcal safety
A
Electrcal safety nstructons should be followed
whle electrcal connecton s made durng the
nstallaton.
• Connect the dryer to a grounded outlet protected by
a fuse at the value specfed on the type label. (See
Overvew) Have the groundng nstallaton performed by
a qualfed electrcan. Our company shall not be lable for
any damages that wll arse when the dryer s used wthout
groundng n accordance wth the local regulatons.
• The voltage and allowed fuse protecton s stated on the
type label plate.(See Overvew)
• The voltage specfed on the type label must be equal to
your mans voltage. (See Overvew)
• Unplug the dryer when t s not n use.
• Unplug the dryer from the mans durng nstallaton,
mantenance, cleanng and repar works.
• Do not touch the plug wth wet hands! Never unplug by
pullng on the cable, always pull out by grabbng the plug.
• Do not use extenson cords, mult-plugs or adaptors to
connect the dryer to power supply n order to decrease the
rsk of fre and electrc shock.
• Power cable plug must be wthn easy reach after
nstallaton.

1.1.2 Product safety
Ponts to be taken nto consderaton for fre hazard:
Below specfed laundry or tems must not be dred
n the dryer consderng fre hazard.
• Unwashed laundry tems
• Items soled wth ol, acetone, alcohol, fuel ol,
kerosene, stan removers, turpentne, paraffn or
paraffn removers must be washed n hot water
wth plenty of detergent before beng dred n the
dryer.
For ths reason especally the tems contanng the
above specfed stans must be washed very well, to
do ths use adequate detergent and choose a hgh
washng temperature.
Below specfed laundry or tems must not be dred n
the dryer due to the fre hazard:
• Garments or pllows bolstered wth rubber foam
(latex foam), shower bonnets, water resstant
textles, materals wth rubber renforcement and
rubber foam pads.
• Clothng cleaned wth ndustral chemcals.
Items such as lghters, matches, cons, metal parts,
needle etc. may damage the drum set or may lead to
functonal problems. Therefore check all the laundry
that you wll load nto your dryer.
Never stop your dryer before the programme
completes. If you must do ths, remove all laundry
quckly and lay them out to dsspate the heat.

Clothes that are washed nadequately may gnte on
ther own and even may gnte after dryng ends.
Ol-affected tems can gnte spontaneously,
especally when exposed to heat sources such as n
a tumble dryer. The tems become warm, causng an
oxdaton reacton n the ol. Oxdaton creates heat.
If the heat cannot escape, the tems can become hot
enough to catch fre. Plng, stackng or storng ol-
affected tems can prevent heat from escapng and
so create a fre hazard.
If t s unavodable that fabrcs that contan
vegetable or cookng ol or have been contamnated
by har care products be placed n a tumble dryer
they should frst be washed n hot water wth extra
detergent - ths wll reduce, but not elmnate, the
hazard.
• You must provde enough ventlaton n order to prevent
gases extng from devces operatng wth other types of
fuels ncludng the naked flame from accumulatng n the
room due to the back fre effect.

Underwear that contans metal renforcements
should not be dred n the dryer. Dryer may be
damaged f metal renforcements come loose and
break off durng dryng.

• Never attempt to repar the dryer by yourself. Do not
perform any repar or replacement procedures on the
product even f you know or have the ablty to perform
the requred procedure unless t s clearly suggested n the
operatng nstructons or the publshed servce manual.
Otherwse, you wll be puttng your lfe and others' lves n
danger.
• There must not be a lockable, sldng or hnged door that
may block the openng of the loadng door n the place
where your dryer s to be nstalled.
• Install your dryer at places sutable for home use. (Laundry,
bathroom, closed balcony, garage etc.)
• Make sure that pets do not enter the dryer. Check the
nsde of the dryer before operatng t.
• Do not lean on the loadng door of your dryer when t s
open, otherwse t may fall over.
• The lnt must not be allowed to accumulate around the
tumble dryer.
• The fnal step of the dryng cycle (cool-down cycle) occurs
wthout applyng heat to ensure that the tems are left at a
temperature that wll not damage them.

1.2 Mountng over a washng machne
• A fxng devce should be used between the two machnes
when nstallng the dryer above a washng machne. The
fttng devce must be nstalled by the authorzed servce
agent.
• Total weght of the washng machne and the dryer -wth
full load- when they are placed on top of each other
reaches to approx. 180 klograms. Place the products on a
sold floor that has suffcent load carryng capacty!

Washng machne cannot be placed on the dryer.

• Dryer has been desgned for domestc use. It s not
desgned for commercal purposes and should not be used
for other purposes.
• Use the dryer only for dryng laundry that are marked
accordngly.
• Manufacturer denes any lablty for the damages arsng
from msuse or faulty handlng of the product.
• The servce lfe of the dryer that you purchased s 10 years.
Durng ths perod, orgnal spare parts wll be avalable to
operate the dryer properly.
1.4 Chldren's safety
• Packagng materals are dangerous to chldren. Keep
packagng materals away from chldren.
• Electrcal products are dangerous for the chldren. Keep
chldren away from the product when t s operatng. Do
not let them tamper wth the dryer. Use the chld-proof
lock n order to prevent the chldren to tamper wth the
dryer.

3 Installation
Before the calling the nearest Authorized
Service for the installation of the dryer, en-
sure that electrical installation and water
drain is appropriate referring to the user’s
manual. (See 3.3 Connecting to the drain
and 3.5 Electrical connection) If they are
not suitable, contact a qualied electrician
and technician to make necessary arrange-
ments.

Preparation of the dryer's location
as well as the electrical and waste
water installations is under cus-
tomer's responsibility.

Prior to installation, visually check
if the dryer has any defects on
it. If the drier is damaged, do not
have it installed. Damaged prod-
ucts cause risks for your safety.
A
Let your dryer wait for 12 hours
before starting to use it.
3.1 Appropriate installation
location
Install the dryer on a stable and level surface.
Dryer is heavy. Do not move it by yourself.
• Operate your dryer in a well ventilated,
dust-free environment.
• The gap between the dryer and the
surface should not be reduced by the
materials such as carpet, wood and tape.
• Do not cover the ventilation grills of the
dryer.
• There must not be a lockable, sliding or
hinged door that may block the opening
of the loading door in the place where
your dryer is to be installed.
• Once the dryer is installed, it should stay
at the same place where its connections
have been made. When installing the
dryer, make sure that its rear wall does
not touch anywhere (tap, socket, etc.).
• Place the dryer at least 1 cm away from
the edges of other furniture.
• Your dryer can be operated at
temperatures between +5°C and +35°C.
If the operating conditions fall outside
of this range, operation of the dryer
will be adversely affected and it can get
damaged.
• The rear surface of the tumble dryer
shall be placed against a wall.

3.2 Removing the
transportation safety
assembly
A
Remove the transportation safety
assembly before using the dryer
for the rst time.
• Open the loading door.
• There is a nylon bag inside the drum that
contains a piece of styrofoam. Hold it
from its section marked with XX XX.
• Pull the nylon towards yourself and
remove the transportation safety
assembly.

Check that no part of the trans-
portation safety assembly re-
mains inside the drum.

Installation
3.3 Connecting to the drain
In products equipped with condenser unit,
water accumulates in the water tank during
the drying cycle. You should drain accumu-
lated water after each drying cycle.
You can directly drain accumulated water
through the water drain hose supplied with
the product instead of periodically draining
the water collected in the water tank.
Connecting the water drain hose

tools to remove the hose.

drectly to the wastewater dran or to
the washbasn.

Hose connection should be made
in a safe manner. Your drain
house will be ooded if the hose
comes out of its housing during

3.4 Adjusting the feet
• In order to ensure that the dryer
operates more silently and vibration-
free, it must stand level and balanced
on its feet. Balance the machine by
adjusting the feet.
• Turn the feet to left or right until the
dryer stands level and firmly.

Never unscrew the adjustable
feet from their housings.
3.5 Electrical connection
For specic instructions for electrical connec-
tion required during installation (see 1.1.1
Electrical Safety)
3.6 Transportation of the dryer
Unplug the dryer before transporting it.
Drain all water that has remained in the
dryer.
If direct water drain connection is made, then
remove the hose connections.

We recommend carrying the dryer
in upright position. If it is not pos-
sible to carry the machine in the
upright position, we recommend
carrying it by tilting towards the
right side when looked from the
front.

3.7 Warnings about sounds

It is normal to hear a metallic
noise from the compressor some-
times during operation.

Water collected during operation
is pumped to water tank. It is nor-
mal to hear pumping noise during
this process.
3.8 Changing the illumination
lamp
In case an illumination lamp is used in your
laundry dryer.To change the Bulb/LED used
for illumination of your tumble dryer, call your
Authorized Service.
The lamp(s) used in this appliance is not suit-
able for household room illumination. The
intended purpose of this lamp is to assist the
user to place laundry in the tumble dryer in a
comfortable way. The lamps used in this ap-
pliance have to withstand extreme physical
conditions such as vibrations and tempera-
tures above 50 °C

4 Preparation
4.1 Laundry suitable for drying in the dryer
• Always obey the instructions given on the garment tags. Dry only the laundry having a
label stating that they are suitable for drying in a dryer and make sure that you select the
appropriate programme.

4.2 Laundry not suitable for
drying in the dryer

Delicate embroidered fabrics,
woollen, silk garments, delicate
and valuable fabrics, airtight
items and tulle curtains are not
suitable for machine drying.
4.3 Preparing laundry for
drying
• Laundry may be tangled with each other
after washing. Separate the laundry
items before placing them into the dryer.
• Dry garments having metal accessories
such as zippers, inside out.
• Fasten the zippers, hooks and buckles
and button sheets.
4.4 Things to be done for
energy saving
Following information will help you use the
dryer in an ecological and energy-ecient
manner.
• Spin your laundry at the highest speed
possible when washing them. Thus, the
drying time is shortened and energy
consumption is reduced.
• Sort out the laundry depending on their
type and thickness. Dry the same type
of laundry together. For example thin
kitchen towels and table clothes dries
earlier than thick bathroom towels.
• Follow the instructions in the user
manual for programme selection.
• Do not open the loading door of the
machine during drying unless necessary.
If you must certainly open the loading
door, do not keep it open for a long time.
• Do not add wet laundry while the dryer is
in operation

• Clean the lint filter before or after each

• Clean the filter periodically when there
is visible air collection on it or when
the symbol lights up, if there is a filter

• Ventilate the room, where the dryer is
located, well during drying.
4.5 Correct load capacity
Follow the instructions in the “Programme
selection and consumption table”. Do not
load more than the capacity values stated in
the table.

It is not recommended to load
the dryer with laundry exceeding
the level indicated in the figure.
Drying performance will degrade
when the machine is overloaded.
Furthermore, dryer and the laundry
can get damaged.

5.3 Preparing the machine
1. Plug in your machine.
2. Place the laundry in the machine.
3. Press the On/Off/Cancel button for 1
second (long).
4. When your machine is operated for the
first time, it starts with the declaration
programme (wardrobe dryness for
cottons.)

5.4 Programme selection
1. Decide the appropriate programme from
the table below which includes drying
levels.
2. Select the desired programme with the
Programme Selection knob.
Extra Dry
Only the cotton laundry is
dried at normal temperature.
Thick and multi layered laun-
dry (towels, linens, jeans and
etc.) are dried in a way that
they do not require ironing
before being placed in the
wardrobe.
Cupboard
Dry
Normal laundry (tablecloths,
underwear and etc.) are dried
in a way that they do not
require ironing before being
placed in the wardrobe.

Normal laundry (shirts, dress-
es and etc.) are dried ready to

5.5 Main programmes
Depending on the fabric type, the following
main programmes are available.
• Cottons
Dry durable laundry with this programme.
Dries at normal temperature. It is recom-
mended to use for your cotton items (bed
sheets, quilt covers, towels, bathrobes, etc.).
• Synthetcs
Dry less durable laundry with this pro-
gramme. Recommended for synthetics.
5.6 Additional programmes
For special cases, following additional pro-
grammes are available in the machine.

your dryer, your laundry must be
washed at suitable programmes
and spun at the recommended
spin speeds in the washing
machine..
• Jeans
Use this programme to dry your jeans that
are spun at high speeds in the washing ma-
chine.
• Mx
Use this programme to dry non-pigmented
synthetic and cotton laundry items together.
• WoolProtect
Use this programme to dry woolen garments
such as jumpers that are washed according to
the instructions.
It is recomended that garments would be re-
moved at the end of the programme.

The wool drying cycle of this
machine has been approved by
The Woolmark Company for the
drying of machine washable
wool products provided that the
products are washed and dried
according to the
instructions on the garment
label and those issued by the
manufacturer of this machine.
(M1606). In UK, Eire, Hong Kong
and India the Woolmark trade
mark is a Certification trade mark..
• Nght
In this programme the level of noise emit-
ted to the environment will be the lowest.
Volume level will be fty percent lower with
respect to the ‘wardrobe dry for cottons’ pro-
gramme.
• Express
You can use this programme to dry your
cotton laundry that you have spun at high
speeds in your washing machine. This pro-
gramme dries 1 kg cotton laundry (3 Shirts / 3
T-shirts) in 49 minutes.
• BabyProtect
Ths programme s used for baby clothes that
bear machne dryable approval on ts label.
• Daly
This programme is used to dry cottons and
synthetics daily, and lasts for 100 minutes.
• Shrts 30’
Use this programme to make 2 shirts ready
for ironing in 30 minutes.

There may be a little moisture
on the shirts at the end of the
programme. We recommend
you not to leave the shirts in the
dryer.
• Delcates
You can dry your highly delicate laundry (silk
blouses, ne underwear, etc.) that are suit-
able for drying, or laundry which is advised to
be hand-washed at a lower temperature.

It is recommended to use a cloth
bag to avoid certain delicate
garments and laundry from
getting creased or damaged. Take
your laundry immediately out of
the dryer and hang them after
the programme ends in order to
prevent them being creased.
• Freshen Up
Only ventilation is performed for 10 minutes
without blowing hot air. You can air the
clothes that have been kept at closed envi-
ronments for a long time and deodorize un-
pleasant odours thanks to this programme.
• Tmer programmes
You can select one of the 10 min., 20 min., 30
min., 40 min., 50 min., 60 min., 80 min., 100
min.,
120 min., 140 min. and 160 min. timer pro-
grammes to achieve the desired nal drying
level at low temperatures.

Audio Warning
The machine will give an audio warning
when the programme comes to an end. Use
the Audio Warning Level button to adjust

Favourite selection button
A programme with the set auxiliary function
is saved with Favourite selection button.
When the product is switched on and o, fea-
tures of the saved programme is displayed by
means of Favourite selection button.
1. Select the programme wth the
programme button; select the auxlary
functons such as Ant-creasng, Dryness
Level etc.
2. Press and hold the Favourte selecton
button for about 3 seconds. Features of
set programme wll be saved.
End time
With the End Time function, the end time
of the programme may be delayed up to 24
hours. The time on the display is the total of
normal drying time and end time.
• Open the loading door and put the
laundry in.
• Select the drying program.
Anti-creasing
Anti-creasing programme duration may
be changed with the Anti-creasing selec-
tion button. You can use Anti-creasing func-
tion to prevent laundry from creasing if you
will not take the laundry out after the pro-
gram has come to an end. This programme
rotates the laundry in every 240 second for
selected time to prevent creasing.Following
images identify the level changes.

Press End Time button to set the desired
time delay.
• Press Start/Pause button. Time Delaying
starts countdown and the time delaying
symbol lights up on the display. The “:” in
the middle of the displayed delay time
will flash.
• Additional laundry may be loaded / taken
out during the End Time period. At the
end of the End Time countdown process,
End Time symbol disappears, drying
process starts and the programme
duration is displayed.

If loading door is opened and
closed during the End Time dura-
tion, the programme will switch
to pause mode. End Time func-
tion should be resumed with
pressing Start/Pause button.
Changing the End time
If you want to change the time during count-
down:
• End Time is deactivated when the dryer
is switched off and on with On/Off/
Cancel button. Restart the dryer and
repeat the End Time procedure for the
desired time.
• When your dryer is operated for the
first time, it starts with the declaration
programme (wardrobe dryness for
cottons).
Canceling End time function
If you want to cancel the End Time count-
down and start the programme immediately:
• End Time is deactivated when the dryer
is switched off and on with On/Off/
Cancel button.
• Press Start/Pause button to start
the programme you have previously
selected.

Lint filter cleaning
When the programme is completed, a warn-
ing symbol will appear continously indicating
that the lter needs to be cleaned.

Draining the water tank
When the programme is completed, a warn-
ing symbol will appear continously to remind
that the water tank needs to be drained.

If the water tank becomes full while the pro-
gramme is running, the warning symbol will
start to ash and the dryer will pause. Drain
the water in the water tank and press Start
/ Pause button to resume the programme.
The warning symbol turns o and the pro-
gramme resumes operating.
Cleaning the filter drawer
Warning symbol ashes to remind that the
lter drawer needs to be cleaned.

Loading door open
This warning symbol Pause appears and pro-
gramme progress symbol ashes when the
loading door of the dryer is open.
5.10 Starting the programme
Press the Start/Pause button to start the
program.
Start symbol will light up to indicate that
the programme has started and “:” symbol in
the middle of the remaining time will keep
ashing. Drying and programme progress bar
will be displayed alternately.

5.12 Child Lock
Machine is equipped with a Child Lock which
prevents interfering with the current pro-
gramme ow by pressing any button.
To activate the Child Lock:
• Press and hold Childproof Lock button
for 3 seconds.
• Child Lock symbol will appear on the
display when the Child Lock is activated.
• All buttons except the On/Off/Cancel
and Child Lock button on the control
panel are deactivated when the Child
Lock is active.
• Display symbols will not change even
if the position of Programme Selection
knob is changed while the child lock
button is active.
• When the programme selection knob is
turned and function buttons are pressed
Child Lock warning will be displayed.
• To start a new programme after the
current programme is over or to interrupt
the current programme, the Child Lock
should be deactivated.
To deactivate the childproof lock:
• Press and hold Child Lock button for 3
seconds.
• Child Lock is deactivated when the dryer
is switched off and on with On/Off/
Cancel button.
5.13 Changing the programme
after it has started
• After the dryer starts operation, you can
change the selected programme and dry
your laundry in a different programme.
• Press and hold Start / Pause button for 1
seconds to pause the programme.
• Select desired programme by turning the
Programme Selection knob.
• Press the Start/Pause button to start
the program.
Adding / removing laundry while the
dryer is in operation
• In order to add or take out laundry after
the drying programme has started:
• Press the Start/Pause button to switch
the dryer to Pause mode. Drying process
will pause.
• While in Pause mode, open the loading
door, add or take out laundry and close
the loading door.
• Press the Start/Pause button to resume
the program.

Any laundry added after the
drying process has started may
cause the clothes that are already
dried in the machine intermingle
with wet clothes and the result
will be wet laundry after the
drying process is over.

You may repeat laundry adding
or removing process as many
times as you desire during
drying. However, this process will
increase the programme time and
energy consumption since the
drying process will be interrupted
repeatedly. Therefore, it is
recommended to add laundry
before the drying programme has
started.

If you select a new programme by
turning the Programme Selection
knob while your drier is in Pause
mode, then the current program
is aborted and new programme
information is displayed.
Do not touch the inner surface of
the drum when adding or taking
out laundry while a programme is
running. Drum surface and dryer
air within is hot.
5.14 Canceling the programme
To cancel the programme after the dryer is
started:
• Press and hold Start / Pause button for
1 seconds to pause the programme and
turn the programme selection knob.
• Press and hold On / Off / Cancel Button
for 3 seconds and the programme will be
cancelled.

As the dried laundry will be
excessively hot when you cancel
the programme while the dryer
is running, activate the Refresh
programme to cool them down.
5.15 End of programme
When the programme comes to an end Lint
lter cleaning and Water tank warning sym-
bols light up in the programme follow-up
indicator. To turn o the dryer press On / O /
Cancel button.

6 Maintenance and cleaning
Service life of product extends and frequent-
ly experienced problems will be reduced if it
is cleaned at regular intervals.
6.1 Cleaning Lint Filter /
Loading Door Inner Surface
Lint and ber released from the laundry to
the air during the drying cycle are collected in
the Lint Filter.

Such fiber and lint are generally
formed during wearing and
washing.

Always clean the lint filter and the
inner surfaces of the loading door
after each drying process.
C
You can clean the lint filter
housing with a vacuum cleaner.
To clean the lint lter:
• Open the loading door.
• Remove the lint filter by pulling it up and
open the lint filter.
• Clean lint, fiber, and cotton raveling by
hand or with a soft piece of cloth.
• Close the lint filter and place it back into
its housing.
• A layer can build up on the filter pores
that can cause clogging of the filter after
using the dryer for a while. Wash the
lint filter with warm water to remove
the layer that builds up on the lint filter
surface. Dry the lint filter completely
before reinstalling it.
• Clean the entire inner surface of the
loading door and loading door gasket
with a soft damp cloth.

6.2 Cleaning the sensor
There are dampness sensors in the dryer
that detect whether the laundry is dry or not.
To clean the sensors:
• Open the loading door of the dryer.
• Allow the machine to cool down if it is
still hot due to the drying process.
• Wipe the metal surfaces of the sensor
with a soft cloth, dampened with vinegar
and dry them.

Clean metal surfaces of the
sensors 4 times a year.

Do not use metal tools when
cleaning metal surfaces of the
sensors.

Never use solvents, cleaning
agents or similar substances for
cleaning due to the risk of fire and
explosion!
6.3 Draining the water tank
Dampness of the laundry is removed and
condensed during drying process and the
water that arise accumulates in the water
tank. Drain the water tank after each drying
cycle.

Condensed water is not drinkable!
A
Never remove the water tank
when the program is running!
If you forget to drain the water tank, the ma-
chine will stop during the subsequent drying
cycles when the water tank is full and the
Water Tank warning symbol will ash. If this
is the case, drain the water tank and press
Start / Pause button to resume the drying
cycle.
To drain the water tank:
• Pull the drawer and remove the water
tank carefully.
• Drain the water in the tank.
• If there is lint accumulation in the funnel
of the water tank, clean it under running
water.
• Place the water tank into its seat.

If the direct water draining is used
as an option, there is no need to
empty the water tank.
6.4 Cleaning the filter drawer
Lint and ber that could not be captured by
the lint lter are blocked in the lter drawer
behind the kick plate. Filter Drawer Cleaning
warning light will light up maximum at every
3 drying cycles as a reminder.
There is a two-level lter in the lter drawer.
The rst level is the lter drawer sponge and
the second level is the lter cloth.
To clean the lter drawer:
• Press the kick plate button to open the
kick plate.
• Remove the filter drawer cover by
turning it in the direction of arrow.
• Pull out the filter drawer.
• Open the filter drawer by pressing the
red button.
• Take out the filter drawer sponge.
• Clean lint, fiber, and cotton raveling on
the filter cloth by hand or with a soft
piece of cloth.
• When you notice a layer that may need
unclogging on the filter cloth, please
clean the layer by washing in warm
water. Let the filter cloth dry thoroughly
before installing back the filter drawer.
• Wash the filter drawer sponge by hand
to remove the fiber and lint on the
surface. After washing the sponge,
squeeze it by hand and remove the
excess water. Well-dry the sponge
before storing it.

It is not necessary to clean
the sponge if lint and fiber
accumulation on it is not
significant.

• Place the sponge back into its place.
• Close the filter drawer as to lock the red
button.
• Place the filter drawer back into its place,
turn the filter drawer cover in the arrow
direction and close it securely.
• Close the kick plate cover.

sponge in place will damage the
machine!

A dirty lint filter and filter drawer
will cause longer drying periods
and higher energy consumption.
6.5 Cleaning the evaporator
Clean the lint accumulated on the ns of the
evaporator located behind the lter drawer
with a vacuum cleaner.

You can also clean by hand
provided that you wear protective
gloves. Do not attempt to clean
with bare hands. Evaporator fins
can harm your hand.

7 Troubleshooting
Drying process takes too much time.
• Pores of the lint lter are clogged. >>> Wash the lint lter with warm water.
• Filter drawer is clogged. >>> Clean the sponge and the lter cloth in the lter drawer.
• Ventilation grids on the front side of the machine are blocked. >>> Remove the objects
(if any) that block ventilation in front of the ventilation grids.
• Ventilation is not sucient since the room where the machine is installed is very small.
>>> Open the door and window of the room to avoid the room temperature increase too
much.
• Lime deposit has built up on the dampness sensor. >>> Clean the dampness sensor.
• Excessive laundry is loaded. >>> Do not load the dryer in excess.
• Laundry is not spun suciently. >>> Spin your laundry at a higher speed in your wash-
ing machine.
Laundry comes out wet at the end of drying.

After drying, the hot clothes feel damper than their actual dampness level.
• It is likely that the selected programme did not suit the laundry type.>>>Checking the
care labels on clothes, select appropriate programme for the laundry type or use timer
programmes in addition.
• Pores of the lint lter are clogged. >>> Wash the lint lter with warm water.
• Filter drawer is clogged. >>> Clean the sponge and the lter cloth in the lter drawer.
• Excessive laundry is loaded. >>> Do not load the dryer in excess.
• Laundry is not spun suciently. >>> Spin your laundry at a higher speed in your wash-
ing machine.
Dryer does not switch on or the programme does not start. Dryer does not start when it is
set.
• It is not plugged in. >>> Make sure that the machine is plugged in.
• The loading door is ajar. >>> Make sure that the loading door is closed securely.
• Programme is not selected or the Start / Pause / Cancel button is not pressed. >>> Make
sure that the programme is selected and the machine is not in Pause mode.
• Childproof Lock is activated. >>> Deactivate the Childproof Lock.
Programme is interrupted without any cause.
• Loading door is ajar. >>> Make sure that the loading door is closed securely.
• There was a power failure. >>> Press Start / Pause / Cancel button to start the pro-
gramme.
• Water tank is full. >>> Drain the water tank.
Laundry has shrunk, become felted or deteriorated.
• A programme suitable for the laundry type is not used. >>> Check the garment tag and
select a programme suitable for the fabric type.
Drum lighting does not turn on. (On models with lamp)
• Dryer is not switched on with the On / O button. >>> Make sure that the dryer is
switched on.
• Lamp is defective. >>> Call Authorized Service Agent to have the lamp replaced.
End/Anti-creasing symbol is on.
• Anti-creasing programme is activated in order to prevent laundry that has remained in
the machine from creasing. >>> Turn o the dryer and take out the laundry.

lter with warm water.
• Filter drawer is clogged. >>> Clean the sponge and the lter cloth in the lter drawer.
Water leaks from the loading door
• Lint has accumulated on the inner surfaces of the loading door and on the surfaces of
the loading door gasket. >>> Clean the inner surfaces of the loading door and the sur-
faces of the loading door gasket.
Loading door opens spontaneously.
• Loading door is ajar. >>> Push the loading door to close until you hear a locking sound.
• Water Tank warning symbol is on/ashing.
• Water tank is full. >>> Drain the water tank.
• Water draining hose is bent. >>> If the product is connected directly to a wastewater
drain, check the water drain hose.
Filter Drawer Cleaning warning symbol is ashing.
• Filter drawer is not cleaned. >>> Clean the sponge and the lter cloth in the lter
drawer.

If you cannot eliminate the problem although you follow the instructions in this
section, consult your dealer or the Authorized Service Agent. Never try to repair a
nonfunctional product yourself.
