The display will normally show the current temperature, but the temperature setting can be checked at any time
by pressing the “Set” button once.
WARNING: DO NOT ever touch the interior of the freezer compartment or frozen items inside with wet hands
as this could result in injury due to frostbite.
AUTO AND LOW SPEED MODE
There are two modes that the freezer operates in when running, Auto and Low Speed. To switch between Auto or
Low Speed modes, press the mode button. The yellow or green indicator lights will illuminate to indicate what
mode is set.
Auto Mode will run the compressor and fan as needed to reach and maintain the set temperature. Low Speed
Mode will limit the operation of the fan and compressor to reduce energy consumption.
FAST FREEZE MODE
When set to Fast Freeze Mode, the freezer will rapidly cool the unit to –8°F, and then maintain this temperature.
To set the unit to Fast Freeze Mode, press the “Mode” button until the FF indicator comes on.
NOTE: DO NOT run the freezer in Fast Freeze Mode for more than 4 hours, as this may adversely affect the
refrigeration system.
BATTERY CUT-OUT SETTING
The control system allows for the voltage cut-out to be set to three (3) different settings depending on the
environment & situation that the appliance is being operated in. Low voltage supply to the appliance can result in
poor cooling performance and damage to the supply battery.
When using 12V DC, the digital readout will show the factory setting 10.0V DC. To ensure that suitable battery voltage
can be maintained the controller has been programmed to offer three (3) cut-out levels- 11.8, 10.7 & 10.0V DC.
When used with 24V DC, the factory setting is 22.2V, and can be set for 25.0, 23.5, or 22.2V
To set the desired level for the battery cut-out:
1. Press "Set" button twice in succession and the LED display will flash the current low-voltage setting.
2. Press "+" or "-" button to adjust the setting. The battery cut-out setting will be saved after 5s.
The battery on LED will flash when low voltage conditions are met. The battery cut-out setting only can be
operated when the unit is operating on DC power.
NOTE: Fresh food should not be stored with frozen foods.
NOTE: When operating at or below freezing temperatures, DO NOT put sealed containers filled with liquids,
such as bottles or cans, in the freezer, as they may rupture as items in them freeze and expand.
