#1 If i set this up in our laundry room (only place with a sink), will it work for the whole basement (much less than 2000 square feet)?
Yes, my basement is over 2000 square feet and it works great, but I don’t use the hose. I’m emptying the water chamber several times a day to measure how much moisture is in the air. So in just over 2 weeks it’s collected over 3 five gallons pails of water.

#2 Is this able to run a full night (8 hours) without the tank filling and beep if empty before bed? Beep wakes me
It really depends on how humid the room is where you have it located. Perhaps empty it in the morning and before you go to bed so it doesn’t get completely full?

#3 What does the blinking water drops mean ?
It means the humidity in the room is less than what you have it set at. If you adjust the settings so the room humidity is higher, then it goes out and the unit turns on.
This unit does a really nice job in my basement. I like it only runs when needed.

#4 Would this be safe to use and have constantly running at a trailer I'm only at about every 2 weeks?
I would think so. We have ours in our lower level (of house). It's always running (at least it's always on when I'm near it). We don't have any troubles with it. I would just make sure you have it draining into a drain instead of the built in reservior. If it fills up and you're not there to empty it it will just shut off and not be working.
