FEATURES

Before using your new product, please read these instructions to prevent any damage.

BE CAREFUL! Check out these important safety instructions to keep yourself and your devices safe.

• Before using the converter/adapter, check the product you intend to connect to the converter/adapter for the manufacturer’s voltage and wattage rating, which should be located on the product.

Caution: Adapter mode does not convert voltage. To avoid damaging your device, select the Converter mode when appropriate.

• The Converter cannot be used with low-wattage appliances (0–25W).

• The converter is designed to be used only for short periods of time (approximately 10 minutes).

• Do not leave the converter/adapter in the power outlet when not in use. Do not continue to use the converter/adapter if it is not working properly, has been damaged, or dropped in water.

• Check your appliance label to see if it requires less than 2.5A.

• No grounding. This product is for use with unearthed or double-insulated appliances only.

• The adapter-only function should be used with dual-voltage appliances. The adapter/converter combo function should be used with single-voltage appliances.

Warning: This product is intended for adult use. This product is NOT intended for use by unsupervised children. Choose proper settings and plug in this product before directly supervising children using devices connected to this product.

MAKING SURE YOUR DEVICE IS COMPATIBLE

Warning: Failure to select the correct voltage setting could damage your device.

1. Determine the voltage of the power outlet you want to use. See the table on the back for common voltages.

2. Check the voltage of the device you want to connect to the power outlet.

3. Compare the power outlet voltage to your device’s voltage, then use the table below to decide which mode to use (adapter or converter).

Note: The voltage of some devices will be a range. If your power outlet voltage is in the range of your device’s voltage (for example, a 120-240V device and a 240V power outlet), use ADAPTER mode.

The power outlet voltage is: Slide the mode switch to:

• The same as your device’s voltage

• In the range of your device’s voltage

• 100V and your device is 120V

• In a country with 110-120V AC

ADAPTER

• Greater than your device’s voltage

• In a country with 220-240V AC

CONVERTER
• Less than your device’s voltage Your device is not compatible. Do NOT use this converter/adapter with your device

Notes:

• Use Adapter mode for dual-voltage devices (those listed as 110 V/220 V AC, 120 V/240 V AC).

• Use Adapter mode for devices such as laptop computers and battery chargers because they automatically adjust to 110V or 220V power.

4. Check the wattage of your device.

If you use ADAPTER mode:

Device wattage is: Instructions:

275W max. at 100-120V

575W max. at 220-240V

You can use this adapter. See “Selecting your plug” for further instructions.
576W or more Your device is not compatible. Do NOT use this adapter with your device.

If you use CONVERTER mode:

Device wattage is: Instructions:
0~25W Your device is not compatible. Do NOT use this converter with your device.
26~1875W You can use this converter. See “Selecting your plug” for further instructions.
