Setting the alarm to on/off
You can set the alarm timer to on/off.
1. From the Home menu, select [Settings].
2. Select [Alarm/Sleep Timer] - [Alarm Settings] - [Alarm On/Off] - desired setting.
Hint
Press the button ( ) to stop the alarm.
Note
When the alarm timer is set to [On], is displayed in the information area.
The alarm will automatically stop after 60 minutes.
When using headphones, the alarm volume is limited by the AVLS function, regardless of the [AVLS (Volume Limit)]
settings.
Do not fall asleep while wearing headphones. If you sleep wearing headphones, the headphone cord may wind
around your neck, which may cause suffocation.
The alarm will not sound in the following situations.
While connected to a computer
While in USB connection mode
While processing a Bluetooth connection (though the alarm icon flashes in the information area)
Set the alarm timer to [Off] if you intend not to use your Walkman for a long time.
