#1 How noisy/quiet is this heater? And how well does it maintain a constant temperature in the room?

Near silent. i've found a bit of noise with what I assume is expansion and contraction but 99 percent of the time it's silent.

#2 Would this be safe to put on a log cabin wall?

Yes good heater and perfectly safe for log cabin wall mounting.

#3 The description on-line & the manual say there is a remote control. Can anyone confirm that this came with it?

There is no remote control as such there is an app for your phone to download and then a rather complicated process to go through to set the heater up to work on your wifi. Good luck with that I couldn't get it to work . Otherwise it's a good heater that works by touch controls on the front
