Mixing Guide
The following mixing guide is a suggestion for
selecting mixing speeds for 6-speed mixers. Begin on
speed 1 and increase to desired speed depending on
the recipe consistency.
General Mixing Guide
Use a large mixing bowl so that the ingredients
spread out for easier mixing.
Butter and margarine should be at room
temperature.
Add flour one cup at a time, mixing thoroughly after
each addition.
Chips and nuts should be stirred by hand.
Cookie Dough Mixing Guide

Attachment How to Install
Beaters Insert one beater into any of the openings. Push
until it clicks into place.
Repeat the step above to insert another beater.
Dough hooks Insert a dough hook with a collar disc into the right-
side opening. Push until it clicks into place.
Repeat the step above to insert another dough
hook.
Whisk Insert the whisk into any of the openings. Push until
it clicks into place.
NOTES:
Attachments should be used as a set (2 beaters, 2 dough hooks, or 1
whisk). Do not mix different attachments.
You can rest the mixer on the bowl using the bowl rest during periods
of nonuse; for example, when you are adding ingredients to the mixture.
However, never place the mixer on the bowl rest while the appliance is
switched on. Also, make sure that the bowl on which the mixer is resting
will not fall over. You can also rest the mixer on its heel.
