Fully insert the key and turn it.

The doors cannot be locked when the key is in the ignition switch, and either door is open.

When you lock the driver's door with a key, the
passenger’s door locks at the same time. When
unlocking, the driver's door unlocks first. Turn the
key a second time within a few seconds to unlock the
passenger’s door.
You can customize the door unlock mode setting.

door locks at the same time.
