IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using your electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

DANGER
To reduce the risk of death or injury by electric shock:
1. Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.
2. Do not use while bathing or in the shower.
3. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink. Do not place in or drop into water or other
liquid.
4. Always unplug this appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using and before cleaning.
5. Do not use massager without attachments.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of burns, electrical shock or injury to persons:
1. This appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use, and before putting on
or taking off parts.
2. Do not operate this appliance under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire, electric shock or injury
to persons.
3. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near children or disabled persons.
4. This massager contains an electro magnetic motor. To avoid risk of injury, it must not be used within six inches of an
implantable cardiac device.
5. Use this appliance only for its intended use, as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the
manufacturer.
6. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or
damaged, or dropped into water. Return to Wahl for examination and repair.
7. Do not carry this appliance by supply cord or use cord as a handle.
8. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
9. Never drop or insert any object into any opening on this appliance.
10. Do not use outdoors.
11. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
12. In case of pregnancy, diabetes or illness, consult your physician before using this massager.
13. Do not use massager on:
a. Sensitive skin, swollen or inflamed areas, in the presence of poor circulation, on insensitive skin, where skin eruptions
are present, or in the presence of unexplained calf or abdominal pain.
b. Varicose veins.
c. The front of the neck.
d. Genital areas.
e. Sleeping or unconscious persons.
14. When using a massage attachment, make sure it is properly secured onto the stem, and keep it on while massaging.
15. Do not use damaged attachments. Discontinue use of attachments if cracked or broken. May cause injury to skin.
16. Do not use this massager for more than 20 minutes in any one area.
17. To disconnect, turn all controls to the OFF position, then remove plug from outlet.
18. Do not use massager in close proximity to loose clothing or jewelry.
19. Keep long hair away from massager while in use.
Some of our massagers have heat attachments and gel packs.
For a unit that has heat:
20. Use heated surfaces carefully. May cause serious burns. Do not use over sensitive skin areas or in the presence of poor
circulation. The unattended use of heat by children or incapacitated persons may be dangerous.
For a unit that has a gel pack:
21. Never apply the frozen gel pack directly to skin as direct application may cause frostbite. Never apply the heated gel pack
directly to skin as direct application may cause burns.
22. The gel pack and contents are safe when used as directed. If the gel pack is accidentally punctured or tears, discontinue
using immediately. If the gel comes in contact with the skin, wash with soap and water. If skin becomes irritated or if the gel
enters the eyes or mouth, contact a physician immediately. Keep gel pack out of reach of children and pets to avoid risks
posed if gel pack is punctured or torn.
23. Check local laws and regulations for proper disposal of the gel pack.
