Rinsing the milk pipework
If you have prepared a drink using milk,
the coffee machine will automatically
rinse the milk pipework after a few
minutes. You can also start Rinse the milk
pipework manually.
Maintenance programme –
Clean the milk pipework
You can carry out the maintenance
programme using the Miele cleaning
cartridge or the Cleaning agent for milk
pipework (cleaning powder sachets).
The maintenance programme lasts for
approx. 20minutes.
If you have switched on automatic
cleaning and fitted a ready-to-use
cleaning cartridge, Clean the milk
pipework will be carried out using the
cleaning cartridge.
Cleaning the milk pipework with the
cleaning cartridge
In addition to automatic cleaning, you
can start the maintenance programme,
for example, to clean the milk pipework
after intensive use.
The Maintenance menu is shown in the
display.

Cleaning the milk pipework with the
Miele cleaning agent for milk
pipework (sachets)
If automatic cleaning is switched off,
the milk pipework will need to be
cleaned about once a week.
For optimal cleaning results, we
recommend the Miele Cleaning agent
for milk pipework.
The Cleaning agent for milk pipework
has been specially developed for use
with Miele coffee machines and
prevents subsequent damage.
You require 2 sachets of the Cleaning
agent for milk pipework for each
cleaning process.
It is available to order from the Miele
online shop or directly from Miele (see
the end of this booklet for contact
details).
Clean the milk pipework appears in the

The cleaning process cannot be
cancelled. It must be completed
through to the end.
