Note:
To conserve battery life, the camera beeps and automatically
shuts off after about 90 seconds of inactivity. To turn it back on,
press the power button (

). The LCD status display (

) turns on
and the power/status indicator (

) is lit. To take a photo, look
through the viewfinder (c) and press the shutter button (

Inserting Batteries
Your kit includes four AAA batteries.
1 Turn the camera off.
2 Open the battery door by sliding
the cover out to the side as far as
it will go and lifting it.
3 Insert four AAA batteries. Make
sure that the battery terminals
(
+
and
-
) are properly
positioned.
4 Close the battery door securely.
Slide it out to the side as far as it will go, press it against the camera
base, and slide it back into the base to lock it closed. If you feel
resistance, do not force the door.
