#1 Does the speaker pair with xtreme 2 because I’m trying and don’t work and I don’t want to return xtreme 3 ?

Our JBL Xtreme 3 can only paired with other JBL speakers that has the 'Partyboost' feature. The same goes for the JBL Xtreme 2,only speakers with the connect + feature can pair with it. #2 Why did jbl respond to my previous question about size of power bank for added 5 hours of playtime telling me it won't charge using usb when it does?

Our JBL Xtreme 3 a built-in power bank feature. The USB port can be used to charge your devices.

Answer

Our JBL Xtreme 3 does not have an FM tuner. You may only use this device as a Bluetooth speaker and a Powerbank.

#4 Can you connect(if you need to) using jbl xtreme 3 built in usb ports(x2) to your phone/tablet ect..., and play your media; like your playlist ?

The usb ports of our JBL Xtreme 3 can only be used as a powerbank to charge other devices and can not be used to play media files.

Yes. The other people think you are talking about the Xtreme 2. The Boombox 2 and Xtreme 3 both use Partyboost, so they can be linked together.

The Xtreme 3 can be placed either horizontally or vertically.

While I wouldn't recommend using it to play a movie or listen to music while during a flight, yes you can store it in a suitcase and bring it on the plane.

#9 Can you charge the JBL unit and listen at the same time?

There is no harm in leaving your JBL Xtreme 3 connected to electricity at all times. The battery will not overcharge. You can simply pick it up, unplug it from the charger and be on your way, knowing that you have a full charge. However, if you’d like to conserve electrical energy, disconnect from charging.
