Cuisinart CB-60 Questions and Answers

#1 Does this appliance need a special outlet?

Mine is plugged into a regular kitchen outlet. Also on this outlet is a hood with a light and exhaust fan.

#2 Does the power cord come attached to the unit or is it removable? Need something for older parent with dementia that we can remove cord.

The power cord is attached, but what makes this product unique is the ON light ( A great warning to anyone that the product is on.

#3 Does it make noise? Or is it quiet?

Mine doesn't make any noise

#4 Where is this manufactured?

I just turned mine over and on the label it says China. I intend to very much limit those items in the future, however this is a very well made hot plate and heats faster than my Gas stove or any of my electric fry pans. I still have to rate it 5 stars.

#5 Can you set it to go off automatically after, say, 10 minutes?

Unfortunately will not go off automatically

#6 Will this one keep heating and not stop when it gets hot?

You have to turn it off. It works really well. heats up quickly but once you turn it off it does take a while to cool down. I have no complaints.
