Rotate the motor so that the exhaust
connection points in the required
direction and secure it to the
downdraft rangehood.
Guide the three connection leads on
the bottom of the downdraft
rangehood through the casing and
plug them into the correct sockets at
the bottom of the connection box.
Make sure that the plugs click in
firmly.
Close the locking catches on the
middle plug.
Plug the mains connection cable
supplied into the correct socket on
the bottom of the connection box.
Secure the connection box to the
downdraft rangehood. It can be fitted
in the position shown or, alternatively,
it can be fitted onto the other side of
the motor, onto the back of the
downdraft rangehood or onto a
cabinet wall.
If moisture gets into the unit, this can
cause an electric shock.
Therefore the connection box must
not be in contact with the floor.
Position and secure the cable and
other connection leads in a suitable
place.
