If You Have a Flat Tire
Taking Care of the Unexpected
Wheel Removal
Park your motorcycle on a firm, level
surface.
Raise the rear wheel off the ground by
placing a support block under the
engine.
Loosen the axle holding bolt ( ).
While holding the other end of the rear
axle shaft ( ) with a wrench, remove
the rear axle nut ( ).
Remove the rear brake bracket bolt ( )
and bolt ( ).
Pull the rear axle shaft out.
Remove the rear brake bracket ( ),
washer and side collar.
