PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSES WHAT TO DO
Mist is leaking from between
the water tank and water base.

Mineral scale has built up in the
water inlet basin or the nozzle.

Clean as per instructions.
•
Water tank is not sitting correctly
on base.
•
Ensure water tank has been fitted on
the base correctly.
Discolouration on the
heating element.
•
This is normal.
•
The element should be cleaned
regularly, however, discolouration
that cannot be removed is normal
with use.
Lights and beeps on the unit
continue for a short time after
being disconnected from
power.
•
This is normal.
•
Residual energy will fade in a few
seconds.
