Stacking Round Trays

For round trays, to change the spacing between trays, it is necessary to identify the
stacking tabs. The tabs with the three reinforcing ribs shown above are on the lower
tray, and the smooth tab is part of the top tray in this photo. Note that they are next
to each other as indicated by the white arrow. This is the alignment for thinner foods.
This is also the best position for storage of the appliance since the total stack height is
minimized.
In the image below, the trays are aligned to allow the placing of thicker foods on
the trays which allows better air ow around the food as well. As is indicated by the
white arrow, the smooth tab of the upper tray is sitting on top of the ribbed tab of the
tray below.
Any combination of stacking can be used to accommodate the foods being dried.
An example would be some low tray stacking for banana chips and some tall stacking
for strawberry halves.
