Any new product with plastic can have a little plastic smell. Just wash with warm
soap and it should go away. It that is not enough follow below steps.
1. If you are using lemon juice, please use 6 oz. cup of concentrate lemon juice
and fill the liner (pot) with water up to the max. Line.
2. Press and hold the Boil button for 3 or 4 seconds the unit goes into the
cleaning mode which takes approx. 1.5 hours.
3. Once the cleaning mode is done
4. Press the boil button and allow the unit to stay in keep warm overnight.
Next day open lid allow the water to cool, then dispose from side. Fill the unit
with just water / boil / when boil completes dispense about a liter through the
spout.
Unplug unit open lid allow the water to cool then dispose from side.
Last step fill with water boil and you can drink that water
